Wind integrated power system to reduce emission: An application of Bat algorithm

چکیده

The trend of increasing demand creates a gap between generation and load in the field electrical power systems. This is one significant problems for science, where it require to add new generating units or use novel automation technology better utilization existing units. highly recommends speedy effective algorithms optimal parameter adjustment system components. So newly developed nature inspired Bat Algorithm (BA) applied discover control parameters. In this scenario, paper considers minimization real cost with emission as an objective. Further, improve performance reduction emission, two thermal plants were replaced wind plants. addition, boost voltage profile, Static VAR Compensator (SVC) has been integrated. proposed case study, i.e., considering plant SVC BA, on IEEE30 bus system. Due incorporation into system, output reduced, application profile improved.
